The following terms and conditions apply only to purchases made online from www.the-lace-co.com Your rights are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations (2000).

Payment and Order 

All payments made will be debited at the point of order. 

Return Policy

Purchases can be returned for a refund within 14 days of the day on which the goods were received. Delivery charges will not be refunded, unless goods are found to be faulty or damaged. Please see Return Policy page for full details.

Faulty Goods Policy

Every care is taken to ensure that fabric leaving us is in brand new condition. Each length of fabric is checked over thoroughly before dispatch. We ask that you check the condition of your purchase immediately on receiving it, and before using it, as we cannot accept the return of items deemed to be faulty once they have been cut or used. If you do have a problem with your fabric that you would like to discuss, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving it. Please contact us immediately if you believe your purchase to be damaged or faulty on arrival.

We recommend that you do not accept delivery of an item if the exterior packaging is clearly damaged. Please ensure that we and the carrier are informed of the reason for which the item was not signed for.

The Lace Co. acts in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, designed to protect consumers’ rights. They cover purchases made via email and the internet, together with telephone and mail order. They only apply to transactions between businesses and consumers (individuals acting outside the course of their business) and do not include business-to-business transactions.

Undelivered Goods

In the unlikely event that your goods are not delivered within the expected timescale, please contact us immediately and we will investigate the issue and aim to resolve it as quickly as possible. 
Items sent by Royal Mail's standard First Class delivery service will be deemed lost only when 15 or more working days have passed since the item was due to be delivered. Items sent by Royal Mail's Special Delivery delivery service will be deemed lost only when 10 or more working days have passed since the item was due to be delivered.


Colour Accuracy

Please note that while we have made great efforts to ensure the accuracy of colours in images, a number of factors can affect this, such as the viewer’s monitor settings and kind of light under which products are photographed and viewed. We hope that our efforts will make colour selection easy for you.

You may not modify, copy, reproduce, re-publish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any of the content on this website without the prior written permission of The Lace Co. Breach of these rights is prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the copyright and other intellectual property rights of The Lace Co. Abuse of these rights will result in legal action.  

Malicious Software

Whilst we take precautions to ensure our website is free from viruses, spyware and other similar programs, we do not accept liability for any viruses or malicious content transmitted or received during the use of this website. It is strongly recommended that users of this website have adequate and up-to-date software for protection. The users bear responsibility for damage arising from such unwanted malicious programmes and software.
